Regional Opportunities Australia is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Nicola Kaldor to the Board of Directors.

A passionate refugee advocate closely associated with the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law, Nicola is an experienced director with a strong understanding of the Not for Profit (NFP) sector and demonstrated success working with philanthropists through Variety – The Children’s Charity, Global Dignity Day, the Bangarra Dance Theatre and the Foundation Board of the Australian Ballet.

Regional Opportunities Australia Chairman, David Keegan, welcomes Nicola’s wealth of experience to the Board:
“Nicola brings a strong career in business and philanthropy both locally and internationally as well as a commitment to social justice. We’re honoured to have her join the ROA team and believe she will add to the rich knowledge and skills of existing directors.”

As a newly appointed director, Ms. Kaldor will help guide ROA as it serves migrants and refugees with permanent and meaningful settlement opportunities in regional Australia: “I’m thrilled to be joining the board of ROA as it works to promote a culturally diverse and economically prosperous Australian landscape. Settlement of refugees and migrants into regional Australia will not only drive positive local outcomes, but also allow displaced people to find a warm and welcoming final home.”
